How to use this
First, it'd be great if you'd play around a moment with our
Detailed Pricing.
It'll give you an idea on how the numbers in this tool come together.
In short, the algorithm multiplies series of numbers together to produce the final output. There's a number for every weapon, every effect, and certain relationships (i.e. Quad on weapons with low magazine).
If you change effect multiplier from i.e. 2.0 to 3.0, every roll with this effect will increase it's value 'to 3/2 of old value' or 'by 50%'.
If you're interested in seeing the impact of your changes live, you can add items to observed items list, and each change you'll apply will be reflected on them.
When you think you've reached a sweet spot, press "send", and the tool will prepare a wider list of rolls that would be affected by your changes. If you're satisfied with that list, copy the link to it and send it to us.
Finally, there are some special rules which are worth explaining:
🚫 Ignored Multipliers:
- These effects don't impact the prices of such items
Rules with caps icon:
- instead of regular calculated value, this flat value will be used.
💢 Legacy Effects:
- The things that can't be obtained anymore shouldn't be priced by an algorithm. Show it to people.
💩 Hacked items:
- We won't be pricing what should've been removed years ago. People who need them shud git gud instead 🖕
Known bugs and accepted feedback:
💥 Changing too many things at once causes whole thing to go boom. Try staying under 5 changes.
💥 There are no proper error messages if things go boom
💥 If something goes boom, the view that shows up after pressing "send proposition" doesn't display anything smart
💥 Changing values of special rules with 'caps icon' produces some irrelevant entries
👨💻 The logic to produce list of affected items based on your changes is not 100% finished
👨💻 There is no ability to add/remove special rules yet
💌 ✔️ Implement possibility to specify rolls you want to observe
💌 ✔️ Display changes to these items in 'real time' - before clicking "send proposition"
💥 - bugs, 👨💻 - not completed, 💌 - feedback from awesome people, ✔️ - implemented
