FED76 Pricing Tool - Transparent Calculations View

We're sorry, but this view is not really optimised to work on mobile devices.
This algorithm attributes a floating point number to each item, each effect, certain item-effect pairs and certain combinations of items with particular effects. There are three columns - the values for PC, values for Consoles*, and values for Niche buyers - the last one aiming to represent atypical yet realistic scenarios. For each column, values from its rows are multiplied.
* Values for consoles are not yet properly calibrated and must be tweaked before console version of the tool is released**.
** Actually, I will not ever be releasing consoles as-is, but rather, will handle XBOX and PS separately. I'm just now busy working on Peoples Council Pricing Controls Project and will adjust the UI here to reflect that later. Priorities 🤷
First layer of the calculation, that ain't more complex than an excel sheet.
Multiplication by constant
Values are then multiplied by constants. 1000 for Weapons, 400 for Armors.

Finally, items are categorized based on maximum value from these three columns. Depending on which threshold they fit into, different text is displayed. Vendor prices are 0.3 - 0.36 of Reddit/Facebook/Discord prices, which are the prices this tool focuses on - and the prices you get if you market your stuff actively instead of hoping someone finds it. Ranges also depend on the thresholds, and can be 0.6, 0.8, 1.0 or 1.2 from the values seen above. The processed texts round out these values into nicer numbers.

Notice for Console Players

The system has been build based on extensive market research ON PC ecosystem - and hence is reflecting console reality less precisely. Remember, this is just a price approximation based on global PC market.
